Scottish Local Government Living Wage Allowance of £12.00 applies to this post This is a 38 week post, working hours will be during school term only, the salary will be pro-rated accordingly. Please note the salary advertised is full time (37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year).

Role Purpose

This is a driving role based from a number of locations across the Scottish Borders.

Training will include full PVG application, Driver Induction, full MIDAS training and route learning prior to deployment.

D1 training for B licence holders who are successful at interview may be provided.

Following training opportunities exist for drivers in Full and Part Time work on a variety of school, SAN (Special Assisted Needs) and Commercial bus driving work.

Previous experience is desirable.



Essential

Full manual driving licence with minimum Category D1.

 

A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.
