Supported Enterprise Service support disabled people and those facing barrier to gain and sustain employment.

A key priority of the service is to create training development and employment opportunities for our senior phase ASN young people leaving school.

You will join a team dedicated to supporting ASN young people to achieve their goals and aspirations of gaining employment within the Hospitality / Catering industry across North Lanarkshire.

You will be based within our training kitchen / café which is situated within a local manufacturing business in Newhouse Industrial Estate, Motherwell. You will be involved in job coaching young people to gain the transferable skills required for employment within the sector. You will also be involved in serving within the café and helping to prepare food within the kitchen area. You will support the young people during their placement to actively seek job opportunities.

You should have an SVQ level 3/HNC or equivalent in a Health & Social Care or Educational / Employability discipline.

The ability to travel throughout North Lanarkshire and surrounding areas is desirable for networking and employer engagement.

You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to commencing in this role.

This temporary post is until 31st March 2025.

*For all casual/sessional roles, you will receive 12.1% of your hourly rate for every hour worked in total recompense for annual leave, including public holidays. These rates will be indicated separately on your payslip. You will only be paid for the hours that you work.
